Created laterally with the pedagogical measures conducted at the School Francin, primary school Jean Moulin, at the middle school SEGPA Pierre et Marie Curie of Montmélian and primary school of Apremont, the collection « Sentiers » is a reflection on design and landscape in relation to the materials and the procedures of fabrication.
Borrowed from vine and vineyards is its aesthetic and material vocabulary. Together these objects are constructed from the rocks of Ruoms, oak wood, stainless steel and plastic glass assembled solely by tension and tightening with cables and customised wire-strainers.
Through these four « scenes » the collection narrates a poem on the valley of Savoie, a narrative at times real and at times imaginary. The pathways on which this promenade takes place, symbolically connects the schools of Francin, passing by Montmélin till Apremont.
This project was conceived with the help of Département de Savoie, Communauté de Communes Coeur de Savoie, Direction des Services Départementaux de l’Éducation Nationale de Savoie , Diapason, Musée Régional de la Vigne et du Vin de Montmélian, Maison de la Vigne et du Vin d’Apremont and Municipalité de Cruet.
