The Ruby Suite at the Mi Hotel highlights a spatial structure and a furniture arrangement of great singularity, opening up the experience to a total discovery. Designed as a loft or an artist’s studio, the pink and burgundy shades combined with carefully sourced wallpapers and earthenware create an atypical space. The narrow entrance hallway provides access to a large open space with a vanity top, a shower leading to a large bathtub, a relaxation area, a work area and an island bed. The latter, deliberately positioned diagonally, offers a new experience of sleep, and more generally another way of inhabiting the space. On the other side of the space, a kitchen overlooking the loft from one side can be obscured by a pale pink curtain. The user becomes a spectator in a space where theatre, arts, entertainment and luxury come together to form an exclusive experience in the heart of Lyon.
