I shaped “Etirement” on the principle of an organic body composed by a skin and a skeleton. In pulling a rod, the intensity of the light lowers down and rises up according to the distortion of a fabric membrane.
In order to produce a flowing and expressive movement, I concentrated on the working of a very precise and harmonious gesture focused on one point. In this way, the lamp becomes a temporary shape which creates a poetic time from a daily action.
